Education Award
The Education Award, courtesy of the ACE Foundation, is offered to suitably qualified graduates of Bermuda College enrolled in at least the third (junior) year of a 4-year (or a second year of 3-year UK) degree programme at an accredited university.

Age: No age restriction.

Benefits
The Education Award of $15,000 per year covers tuition and fees for up to two years immediately following Bermuda College graduation.

Criteria

1. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale (or equivalent) from the Bermuda College.
2. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited University entering at least the 3rd (junior) year of a 4-year programme or 2nd year of a 3-year programme in the UK.
3. Applicants must be Bermudian.
4. Applicants must demonstrate a financial need.
5. To be considered to for a second year applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit transcripts to the selection committee.

Selection
The Selection Committee will base its decision on the financial need, academic achievements and aptitude of applicants. The Committee reserves the right to withdraw the Award in the event of unsatisfactory work or conduct. In order to be considered for the second portion of the award, students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 on a 4 point scale or equivalent in a UK programme. Transcripts must be submitted to the selection committee before further disbursement of funds. An interim transcript is acceptable for the initial application.

Required Documents

1. Completed and signed application form.
2. Completed Annual Household Income and Expense Form.
3. Completed Annual Educational Income and Expense Form.
4. Acceptance letter from an accredited university or proof of registration.
5. Proof of Bermudian status.
6. Most recent official transcript of applicant’s academic record showing the equivalent of at least 2 years of study at the post secondary level (60 credits of a four year degree programme)
7. Academic letter of recommendation.
8. Personal letter of recommendation.

Interview
The selection committee will interview short-listed candidates in June.
