The Career Paths Initiative was created by The ACE Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education to encourage Bermuda's youth to achieve long-term career success. Provided in association with the Ministry of Education, Butterfield Bank and community partners, the programme is designed to help students understand the importance of sound career planning and the significance of higher education.

Aimed at students from middle school through to trade apprentices and college undergraduates, the Career Paths Initiative provides practical information through a dedicated website, interactive workshops and career day exhibits and presentations.

The Career Paths Initiative focuses on helping to meet the needs of the community by ensuring that young people are aware of the range of job skills and knowledge required to support Bermuda's economic and social stability now and in the future.  Whatever occupation a student wishes to pursue, as long as they are motivated and committed to working toward success, the Career Paths Initiative believes they deserve support and encouragement.

The Career Paths Initiative is designed to work in partnership with existing career resources available to students including the Bermuda Careers Centre, the National Training Board, and the Ministry of Education, as well as the local and international business communities.

The principal aim of the Career Paths Initiative is to motivate, inform, and enable Bermuda's youth to reach for careers that best fit their individual interest and skills - helping to ensure that aspiring students are well informed and have the tools and support they need to achieve career success.

The ACE Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Bermuda-based Ace Group of Companies, Formed in 1997 by declaration of trust, the Foundation is committed to addressing the needs of the Bermuda community through partnerships with charitable organisations.
